CEO Advisor, Inc. Advises FAB Electric, Inc. on its Sale to HomeServe USA Corp.
The widely known and respected FAB Electric serves both residential and commercial customers with a variety of services for home, business and property owners. HomeServe has been serving customers in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area since 2009, where the company currently serves 165,000 homeowners with over 320,000 repair service plans. FAB Electric joins CroppMetcalfe as HomeServe’s second D.C.-area acquisition of 2019.
“When I started FAB Electric in 1987, I viewed it as an opportunity to offer my customers unparalleled sales and service,” said Jim Fabiszewski, FAB Electric founder and General Manager of FAB Electric. “I’m glad to have the opportunity to take our company to the next level, doing it with the people who helped grow this company beside me, and with an exceptional company like HomeServe.”
Jim Fabiszewski stated, “Mark Hartsell and CEO Advisor provided amazing hands-on guidance from the start of the sale process through to the closing. Not having sold a company before I was not aware of the complexity, and tremendous amount of time and expertise required by someone like Mark to prepare for the sale, locate a qualified buyer, negotiate a strong offer, perform the extensive due diligence process, and drive the process through to legal contracts and closing. CEO Advisor, Inc. was the catalyst in achieving a highly successful sale.”
John Kitzie, CEO of HomeServe North America commented, “It goes without saying that electrical services are critical components of our daily lives. Being able to depend on a reliable provider for repairs, installation and maintenance of any kind is tremendously important to home and business owners alike. Jim Fabiszewski has worked to establish FAB Electric as a leading electrical services provider in the greater D.C. area since 1987. Having him and the FAB team as part of HomeServe allows us both to grow exponentially.” About CEO Advisor, Inc.CEO Advisor provides business consulting, growth capital and mergers and acquisition advisory services to effectively meet the specific needs of small to mid-size companies in a wide range of industries, including software, technology, media, printing, professional service firms, healthcare, manufacturing and many more.
